The attack vector is a known issue on all of the CompoundV2 forks. The attack is similar to the earlier exploit on Hundred Finance, which suffered a loss of approximately $7 million. Midas Capital was also exploited due to the same issue, resulting in a loss of $600,000. A fake Ledger Live application was found to be circulating on the official Microsoft application store. Reports reveal that a total of $768,000 has been stolen by the scammers from multiple affected individuals. The fake application has since been removed by Microsoft.
